This is proof that you don't need some famous actor to make a great movie, as flicks with no-name actors are what impressed me lately, including this one. Richard Jenkins' performance is AMAZING, glad to see someone of his caliber get a LEAD role! This film succeeds on so many levels: acting, story, dialog... and like you said, the music itself becomes the 'star' of the film. Definitely one on my Best of the Decade list (which is still a work in progress). I LOVE this movie.
