It looks like Inception (July 16) and The Expendables (August 13) are the two most anticipated movies of 2010. I’d like to apologize as I asked to vote for your two most anticipated movie and you were able to vote only for one. I edited the poll to add the option “Other” and for some reason, the poll plugin automatically switched back to one possible answer instead of two. Thanks for catching that Ruth!

Below are the trailers for those two movies just to wet your appetites! Note that the trailer for the Expendables is not an official but a “leaked” version.

Hehe, you can thank Shaft and me for The Expendables votes:)

As for Inception, I don’t know – it has potential, the plot may be good, but c’mon – Leonardo DiCaprio is a goddamn choir boy, and Christopher Nolan isn’t anything special (no, I don’t consider The Dark Knight to be teh bestest movie evar111). However, it has Ken Watanabe, and that’s the reason I’m going to see when it comes out.

Where is Alice in Wonderland? That’s my most anticipated movie!

I vote Cop Out! Kevin Smith, Bruce Willis and Harold Faltermeyer. Sign me up!

The Expendables will be a good one too.

I wonder if “Inception” would get half the hype if it weren’t for Nolan directing. Anyway, like Magnum, the only reason why I look forward to it is Ken Watanabe.

    “The Expendables” will own 2010.

Inception has a pretty damn good ensemble cast. The name that attracts me the most is Marion Cotillard, then the rest of it is filled out by DiCaprio, Watanabe, Ellen Page, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy(his name recognition should explode once “Bronson” hits DVD), Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Cillian Murphy.

I mean, Nolan being director has people excited, but I’d be pretty excited about this movie with a new director and just two or three of the actors named above.

Memento & The Prestige that is all.

And if you think DiCaprio is a choir boy you haven’t seen The Departed.
