Hi Red, perhaps because it's an animated feature for kids, the audience might not have seen (or allowed to) see '300'? But it's definitely got Zach's signature all over it. But like Castor said, I usually don't spend my money on animation at the theater ... though I might make an exception with Toy Story 3!

I think the Legend of the Guardians looked pretty promising. What shocked me about it was that they didn't use Zach Snyder's name at all. I figured there would at least be a "From the Director of 300"...but notta.

@ Darren: My pleasure! I also did not enjoy Eastern Promise as much as A History of Violence. Hope they fix that on their next collaboration.

@ Will: Yea, as always I hope it's good but those horror flicks tend to disappoint these days.

@ Fitz: I haven't seen Vicky Cristina Barcelona yet but he sure works at a fast pace.

@ Ruth: :) Not much is known about that Carrell/Gosling movie but that's definitely an intriguing combination. One thing you have to respect about Gosling is that he always tries to do new things so I hope that works out for him. Definitely see Lars and the Real Girl, it's a terrific movie. As for the Legend of the Guardians, it looks (visually) good especially for kids. Like I told you before, I rarely ever see animations in the movie theater because they are almost always for kids and this doesn't look different.
