I also did not enjoy Eastern Promise as much as A History of Violence. Hope they fix that on their next collaboration. @ Will: Yea, as always I hope it's good but those horror flicks tend to disappoint these days. @ Fitz: I haven't seen Vicky Cristina Barcelona yet but he sure works at a fast pace. @ Ruth: :) Not much is known about that Carrell/Gosling movie but that's definitely an intriguing combination. One thing you have to respect about Gosling is that he always tries to do new things so I hope that works out for him. Definitely see Lars and the Real Girl, it's a terrific movie. As for the Legend of the Guardians, it looks (visually) good especially for kids.
