Oh fuck….I just got a boner looking at The Expendables poster….
Btw, I choose M4 customized with a scope and a Masterkey. Hell yeah.
Sheesh… why is a 300 prequel necessary – it was so only okay.
And is it totally wrong that I’m kind of defensive of the original Overboard? I know it’s cheesetastic, but I grew up watching it practically every weekend on TBS.
A Kurosawa marathon? That’s absolutely fantastic. I caught a bit of “Seven Samurai” last night. All-time classic.
What are Malkovich and McDormand thinking?
The Expendables bleeds testosterone.
Apparently Malkovich lost money in the Madoff scheme so that might explain it. I’m all for it if it keeps him producing small indie films.
I’m very excited about “300″ prequel, hope Zack will find the time to really do it, since the graphic novel isn’t ready yet.
The Expendables poster is BAD-AAASSSSS!!!
And is Chris Evans seriously confirmed as Captain America? I just read another article that said it was still up in the air.
Once again I’m humbled and beloved by your linkage. While I enjoyed doing the marathon immensely, I’m definitely going to need a breather
- Looking forward to the production of The Hobbit and Red State (I find the premise pretty interesting) in July.
- Can’t wait to rent Fantastic Mr. Fox.
- Chris Evans I feel is the “safe choice” for Captain America, to be honest I’m more worried about the choice of director (Joe Johnston).
I with you on the Joe Johnston doubts. The man seems to be a one hit wonder and he’s damn lucky that the praise and recognition for The Rocketeer was delayed, because otherwise he’d have exhausted it already. (Of course, that assumes he hasn’t.)
@ Magnum: lol good choice. I will take the M4 with the mounted M203 grenade launcher muahahha
@ Luke: I don’t mind a prequel to 300 but it would need Gerard Butler back
@ Red: I guess they need the paycheck
@ Kai: Yes, confirmed. He was “offered” the role and he waited a few days to accept it
@ Univarn: my pleasure
Enjoy your well-deserved break
@ Dreher Bear: I hear you, Wolfman was a disaster. Hope he doesn’t repeat that kind of mess.
The Expendables – YEAH!
Kane & Lynch – another YEAH! Not because of Foxx, but Bruce Willis. I’m just dying to see him in a badass role again. Come to think of it, he’s in the Expendables, too. Well, lucky me!
I loved Darren’s article and thanks for the link again.
