  1. DEZMOND says:

I’m extremely happy about Stephen Dorff joining WAR OF THE GODS or DAWN OF WAR, and about Sam Worthington officially joinig DAN DARE PILOT OF THE FUTURE.

  2. Ripley says:

Exit Through the Gift Shop looks kind of awesome.

  3. Magnum says:

Damn, when I saw the title “Emperor’s Children”, for a second I thought that somebody may be making another Warhammer movie. But, reality soon hit me, when I saw Richard Gere’s name and realized that it will probably be some lame drama which will make millions of dollars. Oh well…

  4. rtm says:

Awesome, I was waiting for your news posts as I’ve been really slacking off lately – I explain why in my latest post :) Glad to see Bana in something potentially interesting, love that guy, he should be getting more lead roles! Not sure about Gere casting though, I hope it won’t be as lame as you said, Magnum. Josh Brolin is the tall, dark, stranger??? Meh, he definitely didn’t come to mind when I’m picturing such a man. I almost post The Losers posters on my blog the other day as I quite like the first one, that looks like a pretty fun, bombastic flick. Glad to hear Mulligan’s stepping in for Knightly in My Fair Lady, I think she’d be great for the part. But the biggest highlight in casting news for me is regarding The Tourist, as you probably already know.

  5. man $5 million each for the Hangover cast, not bad for a comedy.

Can’t wait for Eastern Promises 2.

Looking forward to renting Sherlock Holmes.

  6. Luke says:

So… even though I’m officially disturbed that Overboard AND Private Benjamin are being remade for some reason, I must say that they couldn’t have left the latter role in better hands. But still – couldn’t they have gotten Anna Faris a star vehicle for an ORIGINAL movie? I’ll even write it myself if they’re that desperate! :)

  7. Darren says:

Singer departing X-Men (again) is lame. But at least he’s in someway involved, so not X3 lame.

And Eastern Promises… this is Cronenberg’s first sequel, if I’m right?

  8. Magnum says:

Well, Emperor’s Children may turn out okay (but it probably won’t, because it’s based on some lame book), however I was surprised at the title which is kind of odd. I would laugh my ass off if it were possible for Games Workshop to sue them for copyright infringement.

Btw, the new Expendables trailer is so awesome that lesser people will probably start falling dead when it hits the cinemas.

  9. Damn it, I was also surprised at the “Emperor’s Children”. My first vision was thousands upon thousands of Space Marines and hails of bolter fire on a vast blood streaked battlefield. … Instead, it’s a comedy/drama with Gere. Do not want.

  10. Castor says:

@ Luke: lol, I don’t know about Anna Faris. Her career never seem to have taken off.

@ Darren: Yes, I was surprised that he would actually do a sequel when I read the news

@ Magnum, Shaft: I know you would cream all over yourself after seeing the trailer lol :)
