From the musical Across the Universe (2007), a fantastic gospel version of the Beatles’ Let it Be. Just to clarify, this is actually part of the movie, not a music video:

    I don’t care what anyone else says, I really dug Across the Universe. That scene was pretty powerful in the film.

      Totally agree. The movie was a bit uneven but I did enjoy it and there was some really brilliant scenes in there. Definitely a lot of material for more MSOD down the road.

    It’s really too bad the movie itself was such a mess, because the soundtrack was great fun. Basically every time they had speaking parts, I was like, “Just get back to the singing already!”

    Great choice. I am a big Across the Universe fan because it tried something totally different and while it is a bit messy and choppy in parts I really liked the story they attempted to make.
