Movie Soundtrack of the Day (MSOD): Take it All
Red’s one and only Marion Cottilard singing Take it All in the musical Nine (2009). Enjoy and have a great day!

This has stayed open in its own tab on my computer for the good portion of this week.
While I love this video, it also angers me that Harvey Weinstein had to try and be cute with his Oscar campaign(as he always does) and campaigned Cotillard as a Lead Actress. She was more deserving of the Oscar nom than Cruz.
I completely agree with you. Marion Cotillard was ten times better than Penelope Cruz.
Once again, it’s awfully confusing why the Academy didn’t recognize that they could have a former Oscar winner performing a nominated song if they’d just done away with the whole strange dancing thing.
Yeah, I am not understanding why Marion Collitard failed to get recognition for either Public Enemies or Nine. She was much better than Cruz. Don’t get me wrong, I love Cruz, who totally deserved the win last year for Vicky Christina, but it just wasn’t as memorable. Maybe its because Collitard already won her oscar…
Good song, although I think the whole “Be Italian” scene and song put the rest of the movie to shame.
This was my favorite song in the film because it was such a performance and the words relating to the scene and just saying exactly how she felt. Just brilliant, I was close to tears as totally felt for the character and related to her. Collitard totally should have had an Oscar nomination ahead of Cruz.
