Thanks for the link love again, fellas! I’m trying hard to get more lists up on THE LIST.
As far as news, if Zemeckis wants to direct a time travelling film, don’t you have to let him? Just tell him not to animate it!
You welcome Kai! Yes, it is time for your blog to do what it is supposed to do
Nice list of links, even though it’s OCTOBER, not SEPTEMBER.
Thanks for catching that Anna
I Am Number Four looks ridiculous. To think I defended Alex Pffeifer (or however you spell it) in his Alex Rider days.
Great update..Looking for Clooney’s next project. Interesting on ‘Teen on the Train’ film.
‘Tales From the Gangster Squad’ looks like another great script for Affleck to direct, especially since Damon’s name has been thrown around with it as well.
And fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinally, The Hobbit is being greenlighted. They’ve already spent $20 million on it, and I’ve seen numbers around $500 million for the production cost. Even if The Hobbit doesn’t come close to what LoTR made, which I don’t think it will, DVD sales and merchandising will still be through the roof. The actors guild for New Zealand tried to show their muscle, but the fact that it’s New Zealand law for production companies to negotiate with union actors, them backing down was the only logical place to go. Now get this sucker into production before the likes of Sir Ian McKellan and Andy Serkis find themselves to come back for the movies, let alone finding your guy for Bilbo.
Seriously. It shouldn’t have taken this long to get this series back in gear.
I think Franco will make a good director…a man of many hats.
Farragut North may have a small audience, but I am definitely included. Political junkies should love this.
You know, there has to be some rhyme and reason to directors wanting to repetitively work with Johnny Depp. He must have some kind of magic dust to make them fall in love with him, but you can’t deny his genius whether it’s your brand of peanut butter or not.
Anything I hear from Whedon and The Avengers is literally making my hands shake I get so excited. I have to calm down or otherwise I could be preparing myself for impossible expectations.
I don’t know how great of an actress Olivia Wilde actually is, but I love her on HOUSE and she is damn beautiful so I’ll watch anything she’s cast in.
I’ve already read Kai’s Tom Cruise flicks, it’s a great List, so everyone should check that out. Dan’s Michael J. Fox flicks sparked up a huge feeling of nostalgia for The Secret Of My Success and Back To The Future. And I’ve never argued with any attention being paid to Miss Naomi Watts. Purrr.
Can’t believe the talented Mr. Hinds want to have anything to do with Ghost Rider [sigh]… the first one was definitely the WORST movie ever conceived.
Excited for The Hobbit, glad Peter Jackson is directing. I wouldn’t want this one fall into the wrong hands.
Who knows what Hinds is thinking?
Oh god – the Teens on a Train news is sheer horror. Leave it alone! And is it just me, or does Tron Legacy look completely awful from the trailers? (Oh, and thanks for the link, my friend!)
