60. Movie Guy Steve

"I must have an actor with a touch of the exotic about him, and for this film, Spanish is what I need. I want Javier Bardem."

62. John Parker

"Fresh off of a movie about sports and race, I think that actor/director Clint Eastwood would be the perfect guy to direct my film., and to play a supporting role in it. He has a knack for making very powerful movies that are very well received by the public."

63. Rob Carraher (For Castor)

"With the 63rd pick, I select Jeremy Renner. An actor who brings a sense of wild unpredictability to his characters, Renner has suddenly arrived on the A-list with his Oscar-nominated performance in The Hurt Locker and his brilliant turn in The Town."Jeremy Renner

David Fincher

65. Candide

69. Andy

"Sarah Polley - Great actress who should make more movies. And to give a bit of my plot away she has Zombie ass-kicking pedigree."Sarah Polley

"I pick Ellen Page. Because she rocks. She can play older or younger. Has a blend able presence or a unique one."

71. Scarlett_Sp1der

"Aaron Eckhart- because of his ability to play the villain Two-Face. In need of someone to
possibly/believably play both sides."

72. Joel

"Holly Hunter. She'll be playing Jesse's mom."

73. Ruth

"My 3rd pick would be Charlize Theron. I need an exotic beauty who's intelligent and has an air of mystery about her, Theron would fit the bill nicely. She'll be sporting a darker hair instead of her usual blond locks."

78. Novroz

"My 3rd pick is Danny DeVito. My second leading man is this funny little guy that seems to have lost his charm lately but he hasn't lost it on me. Danny has a wonderful way to make people laugh. When Castor annouced this 2nd Fantasy draft, his name is the 1st one to pop in my head."Danny DeVito

79. Castor (For Andrew R)

Joan Crawford

83. Travis

Adam Baldwin

84. Nick

      …oops…helping out the opposition! haha

    Never mind, I’m here

For my Round 3 pick, I select Neill Blomkamp as my director. I need someone who can do a sci-fi actioner in a realistic manner, and Blomkamp is one of the best.

  20. Richard says:

    Danny DeVito

  22. Castor says:

With the 79th pick in the draft, I select Marion Cotillard whom I subsequently trade to Andrew R. Sorry Red!

  23. Michael says:

Give me Seth Rogen. I’ll explain it later. I’m at work right now.

    Seth Rogen

  24. Anna says:

I laugh in all of your faces. You’ll never choose who I have in mind. I’m being smart this time around. *evil laugh*

  25. Nick says:

    I believe Michael’s time is up…

  26. Nicholas says:

Hey Novroz, would you be willing to trade Cillian Murphy to me?

    • Nick says:

I strongly doubt that’ll happen. Novroz seems to be obsessed with him. I looked at the first draft, and she said he would appear in like… every movie of hers ever.

    • Castor says:

Yea, you could offer your 10 picks, she wouldn’t give it to you ahah

      • Nicholas says:

Ah well, was hoping to get him as a supporting antagonist but i guess will have to settle 4 the alternate

        • Novroz says:

Sorry Nicholas, both Nick and Castor are right :) you can offer me all 10 of your picks, I still wouldn’t trade him.
That’s why I was trying hard to find anyone to pick him and give him to me even if I have to give 3 picks of mine in return. Big gratitude to Castor for taking that trade.

  27. God, all these lost folks have made it difficult to choose, so I decided I’m going to go with Anthony Mackie. He has a general austerity than can be mistaken for arrogance, but he still manages to show startling emotional depth – which would be a big asset for my film.

  28. Castor says:

    Red selects Joan Crawford

  29. Nick says:

Wait… we already had Jack Nicholson taken! Or does it not count because it’s from an earlier time in his career? That seems a bit shifty…

  30. rtm says:

Sorry, sorry I was at the gym… gotta burn the calories of those yummy Christmas treats :D

My 3rd pick would be Charlize Theron

I need an exotic beauty who’s intelligent and has an air of mystery about her, Theron would fit the bill nicely. She’ll be sporting a darker hair instead of her usual blond locks.

  31. Nick says:

Third Pick. I need a young actress who can start off nice and sweet, go through terrible scenarios and remain strong, and then end up hardcore (though obviously broken). While originally an alternate, my choice of Chloe Moretz sounds better and better the more I think about it.

  32. Tom Hanks–but as a quirky comedic character. an ode to his vintage comedies. oldies but goodies.

  33. Nicholas says:

I think Clara’s time is up Castor

  34. Castor says:

Candice Frederick is replacing Mani and has made all her picks for the first 3 rounds. Welcome to the party Candice!
    1st round: Robert Downey Jr.
    2nd round: Salma Hayek
    3rd round: Tom Hanks

Now, Mani just contacted me as he was away so if he decides to join us by making his first 3 picks, he will be added at the end of the 4th round to keep it fair for everyone else.

    • Nick says:

Well, there’s another alternate down. I officially no longer have any set alternates for any of my choices–they’ve all been taken (along with a couple primary choices)! Let’s hope nobody chooses any of my remaining players!

  35. Nicholas says:

I select Kate Winslet who I immediately trade to Castor for Jeremy Renner. I guess he must be making a holocast movie. *laugh track*

    Kate Winslet

Since Renner is now mine (evil laugh), I’ll talk abot him. After seeing Renner in The Hurt Locker and The Town, you know he can play the bad guy (I count the Hurt Locker because he was his own antagonist) but after seeing him in The Unusuals (which they need to bring back! come on ABC!) I know he can be the witty, charming guy that a proper antagonist needs to be to smart talk his way out of situations with the protagonist and other characters. So that is why it was vital for me to get this guy for my movie (coming 2012)

  36. Nicholas says:

Castor, I find it hilarious that all your picks are from someone else

  37. Nicholas says:

I think CS’s time is up

  38. Hey, I’m officially back. Thanks for making those picks for me. As it turns out, I’m probably going to go in a very different direction for rounds four and five, so I’m glad I’m back to this.

  39. Nicholas says:

Castor, CS’s time was up 20 mins ago I think it’s time to start Round 4

  40. Nicholas says:

I’m prob goin out New Year’s Eve. I’d like to get this fin b4 then and I’m sure everyone else agrees

    • Castor says:

No worries, we will be :) Round 8 to 10 takes only one day and are optional. But if you guys, insist I will get the 4th round ready but it will still take me a good 30 minutes.

    • Nick says:

Yeah, that’s why I liked the 15 minute thing for all those who just sit here for hours on end hitting refresh *cough*me*cough*. At least a third are emailing in and/or coming back later due to being skipped anyway.

But anywho, when are we starting back up tomorrow? If it’s too early I might have to email in or come back later due to being skipped.

(See what I did there?) :P

(P.S. If you couldn’t tell, this whole post was totally tongue-in-cheek.)

  41. whatever works. tonight or tomorrow. it’s no biggie

  42. Castor says:

CS selects Andrew Garfield to end the 3rd round. I will post the 4th round thread in about 30 minutes but don’t expect any updating until tomorrow morning 9AM CT. If you can keep this going overnight, if there is a few of you in a row who can keep this going, good on you but you won’t be allowed to skip anyone.

  43. Clarabela says:

I emailed you my 3rd round pick. Kathryn Hepburn. The middle-aged Hepburn from Summertime & Long Days Journey.
