Watch the Promising Trailer for “Horrible Bosses”
New Line Cinema has unleashed the theatrical trailer for Horrible Bosses, starring Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis via Apple. Directed by Seth Gordon, this promising comedy revolves around three friends planning to kill their obnoxious bosses, played by Jennifer Aniston, Kevin Spacey and Colin Farrell. Naturally, nothing goes right and hilarity ensues.
This looks really promising and I absolutely love the cast for the movie. I have long regarded Jason Bateman as the funniest straight comedian in Hollywood and the winning cast around him should make for a pleasant comedy at the very least. Colin Farrell hairdo is hilarious and even Jennifer Aniston seems like she is having fun in a foxy and against type supporting role.
Check out the trailer for yourself and let us know what you think!
Synopsis:
For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers…permanently. There’s only one problem: even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.

Last bit is golden(the prius one). Looks like its worth checking out.
Charlie Day and Colin Farrell for the win. Couldn’t even tell that was Aniston.
wow a promising jen aniston movie – it’s been a while. it looks like the secret to success is for her to play a comedy supporting role. this was not on my radar for summer viewing but i may give it a chance to escape the blockbusters.
Wow… this actually looks pretty good.
The world needs more Charlie Day!
This looks surprisingly good. Reminds me of Extract. Hopefully it turns out like that. But of course, it’s so easy for things like this to go wrong.
This might actually be a movie Aniston’s involved in recently that doesn’t suck. I like Bateman so he’s the biggest draw for me.
Colin Farrell looks like he is going to be hilarious
“You can fire Dr. Xavier there”
I hardly recognized great make up work and cool acting!
So, I guess this is Colin Farrell’s effort at doing a ‘Lex Grossman?’ On the whole, I think this looks rather entertaining. The bad taste of the fifteen minutes I watched of The Switch isn’t exactly calling me to action for another Aniston-Bateman duo, but Aniston looks like she’ll actually be bearable in this one (if not genuinly interesting – something I haven’t said about her in years).
It’s a bait right? She will revert to Rachel from Friends in all her other scenes right?
Ahah, my thoughts exactly Castor.
I think Colin Farrell’s character seems absolutely hilarious from what I’ve seen so far. Could be worth watching this movie for him alone. “Rolling around in his secret special chair” lol
All in all, it looks like it has some definite potential and could be one of those surprise comedy hits.
“I was drag racing”
“In a Prius”?
“I don’t win much”
- I’ll see it just because of that line – at least I’ll be guaranteed one laugh.
