HQ Set Pictures from “The Dark Knight Rises” with Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

We don’t often deal with set photos here on AM but since these are of excellent quality and come from The Dark Knight Rises a.k.a. everyone’s most anticipated movie of 2012, I thought I would bring these to you. Earlier this year, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was cast in the role of John Blake, a Gotham City beat cop who is assigned to special duty under the command of Commissioner Gordon. Speculation ran rampant that this nondescript role was a ploy to mislead fanboys and that the rising star would have a much more important character. But as the pictures below seem to suggest, guess what? He’s just a beat cop.

The Dark Knight Rises will arrive in theaters on July 20, 2012. Check out the pictures below of Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt trying to do their job in the mayhem that is Manhattan. Don’t worry, there is nothing that could spoil the movie:

I can’t help but think about American Psycho when I see those pics of Bale. Patiently waiting for this to be released.

Yea what’s with the long hairs? That’s strike one, you are on notice Christian Bale…

Well he’s playing a cop alright but that doesn’t mean he won’t turn into a certain red bird or even maybe a Nightwing? :)

    Hi, Castor and company:

I’m thrilled that Joseph Gordon-Levitt landed a role opposite Christian Bale. Having proven his ability and worth through the years with light through heavy hitters. No matter the character or how much meat is attached. I’ve no doubt that Mr. Gordon-Levitt will deliver more than is required.

Wouldn’t mind seeing him as The Dark Knight’s man on the inside at Gotham City PD.
Providing information and intelligence to Bruce Wayne. Since most of the cool tech was destroyed fighting the Joker. Though the lat thing the franchise needs is a Robin.

Hi Jack, from what we know, I don’t think JGL’s character would be assisting Batman since he is seen hanging out with Bruce Wayne in these pictures and obviously no one knows Wayne is Batman. I think his “special assignment” by Commissioner Gordon is probably to escort Bruce Wayne around and the two get to develop some kind of relationship.
