New Look at Michael Fassbender in ‘Prometheus’

You must admit, this is turning out to be a fantastic week of film marketing. With the first trailer for director Ridley Scott’s Prometheus set to premiere tomorrow, Fox has released a still of star Michael Fassbender (via Empire) who plays an android that “may or may not be trustworthy”. The picture basically consist of the actor standing in some kind of extraterrestrial cave, holding a flashlight so keep your expectations in check.

The film, long rumored to be a prequel to Scott’s 1979 classic Alien, will center around a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race. Noomi Rapace, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, and Guy Pearce also star.
