Emma Stone to Star in Action Comedy ‘Little White Corvette’
Fast-rising starlet Emma Stone is much sought-after these days after the success of last year’s high-school comedy Easy A and her acclaimed performance in this past summer’s The Help. The young actress will also appear this year in the period crime-thriller Gangster Squad as well as the reboot of The Amazing Spider-Man. Add one more movie to her slate as Michael Diliberti’s (30 Minutes or Less) script Little White Corvette, which has Stone attached to star and produce, has been acquired by GK Films for a cool $1 million upfront.
Deadline reports that the action comedy will revolve around a nerdy brother and his wild older sister (Stone) who find a million dollar worth of cocaine in the trunk of their late father’s corvette. The siblings then decide to travel to Miami to sell the stash of drugs.
Production is reportedly set to begin in the late summer with Stone making her first stint as an executive producer. It will be interesting to see who is brought in to direct as well who will be chosen to play the brother.
What do you think? Who should co-star alongside Emma Stone?

I love the title! I hope they stick with it!
Yes me too. Probably not suggestive enough though so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s changed to something stupid.
I adore Emma Stone and really looking forward to more of her onscreen. This sounds like a good laugh and can just imagine her in the role.
As for her younger sibling? Hmm, I’m not up on my teen/young adult actors!
What about a Zombieland reunion with Jesse Eisenberg?
Emma Stone is one of my favorite young stars, so this sounds pretty exciting to me! She’s gorgeous and hilarious. Thanks for sharing!
Indeed!
Stone is the only thing worth getting excited over regarding this picture. So far. It sounds really bland at present, and 30 Minutes or Less didn’t exactly set the world on fire.
Haven’t seen 30 Minutes or Less but yea it looks passably amusing at best.
You know, everything about this excites me except for the fact it was written by the guy who wrote “30 Minutes Or Less.” That ruins the whole deal. I saw “30 Minutes Or Less” a couple weeks ago and just can’t bring myself to write a review it left me so indifferent. I even tried to write it as a review of “30 Minutes Or Less” In 30 Words Or Less and STILL had nothing.
C’mon give that another shot. =)
I hate when movies leave you indifferent. It makes it basically impossible for me to write a review…
i’m really not on bard the emma stone train yet. she has yet to wow me, except in Easy A
She has pretty stuck to the same formula so far (one could say she has been playing herself all along) but she is “fresh” enough that most people haven’t noticed. She certainly could use more diverse roles outside of romantic comedies.
Gorgeous. Girl crush maximus.
I don’t blame you!
