Provocative Hungarian Poster for ‘Shame’ [Almost NSFW]
Wow talk about a ballsy (pun intended) move by Fox Searchlight. Obviously, it’s not a surprise that the one-sheet below was banned in Hungary. There isn’t much to be said, just take a look at the somewhat explicit version of the movie poster for Shame, starring Michael Fassbender.
What do you think?

Woah! That’s ballsy! (pun not/perhaps intended)
[rendered speechless]
This is amazing. The posters for this movie have been works of art.
that’s a really really good poster. LOL Almost like an amazing teaser poster for the film, you don’t need to know anything more and it gets you talking.
Indeed, sometimes the simplest more direct approaches are the best!
Wait! Is that toothpaste?
That’s the power behind this poster. It’s provocative and explicit but simultaneously, if you don’t get it, you just don’t get it ahahahha
The world will never know
I guess after the oscar snub Fassbender needed a little alone time with his bender to work out his frustration. Didn’t think they would use it for the poster tho
Hilarious!
It looks hand soap.
Yea lol. It would have way too much if it looked like real… you know what
=)) I get the poster and why it is banned.
That’s what people who pretend to be grown up say on the internet!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, not enough movie posters spell out the movie title using jizz.
Whoa! Awesome.
Just #SPEECHLESS!
I would have loved to have been in that meeting when they came in and said “this is our poster”
It made me laugh out loud!!!
Ahaha yea props to whoever let that go through at the studio level.
hehe how rude….. cheeky… LOL
Haha that is truly hilarious. How did that ever get approved?
Excellent poster.
Haven’t seen Shame yet.
If they had used this poster in the US, Fassbender would be an Oscar nominee by now!
