Jennifer Aniston to Star in Comedy-Drama ‘Miss You Already’
After starring in 2011 comedies such Just Go With It and Horrible Bosses, is Jennifer Aniston returning to more dramatic roles? THR reports that the actress is attached to star in Miss You Already, a drama-comedy that Brit Paul Andrew Williams (The Cottage) will helm. The story is said to revolve around two life-long friends whose relationship crumbles when one gets pregnant and the other falls seriously ill.
The premise certainly sounds more dramatic than comedic and Samantha Horley, whose The Salt Company is producing, told Deadline “The idea is that it’s Beaches set in a glossy London, it’s a real old-fashioned tearjerker.” It will be interesting to see who will be brought in to c0-star as the character is said to be British.
Meanwhile, Aniston will next be seen alongside Paul Rudd in David Wain’s new comedy Wanderlust. Williams co-wrote the script with actress Morwenna Banks (Skins). Production is set to start this summer in London.
Any thoughts?

Aniston really should steer clear of dramatic roles. She can’t act. In fact, every time I hear she is making a film that isn’t a terrible romantic comedy I get upset.
Ahah I wouldn’t say she can’t act. Just very vanilla in just about everything she does.
I take it she’s playing the one getting pregnant? I doubt that she’d ever want to be in a movie looking like a seriously ill patient a la Gwyneth in Contagion.
You never know!!
I am assuming she is getting a producer’s credit on this one. Because for the life of me I do not see how her films has this constant stream of high profile roles. And she makes bank too.

Great publicist, too.
Do not underestimate the power of a great agent. Just look at Channing Tatum getting all those roles lol
