New Pics From ‘Snow White & The Huntsman’ Reveal Mysterious Beast [Updated]

Many of us would never have thought it possible that we would actually be looking forward to a Snow White movie just a few months ago but that’s exactly what Universal has been able to achieve with its marketing of Snow White and the Huntsman, Rupert Sanders’ darker, grittier take on the classic fairy tale. We have the latest pictures (via the film’s Facebook page) showing Kristen Stewart trying to tame a mysterious beast and Chris Hemsworth in full Thor mode trying to protect his princess below.

The film also stars Charlize Theron, Sam Claflin, Nick Frost, Ray Winstone and Ian MacShane. Snow White and the Huntsman opens June 1st.

In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart (Twilight) plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar® winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her. But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joins the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.

I am very much looking forward to this one. Much more than the KIDS version also coming up!

    Thanks for this

  2. I was about to say that this might be the first film I see with Hemsworth in it, but then I checked on IMDB and found out he played Captain Kirk’s dad!

I think this one is shaping up to be pretty frigging cool. My only problem is that no way is Stewart fairer then Charlize!

  4. Green Machine says:

Kristen Stewart is still lying around in forests, what a surprise!

  5. Andrew says:

Stewart’s expression is almost identical throughout each of those shots. If we got a close-up of her on the beast, I’m sure she’d look just as bored and disinterested there as anywhere else.

…but the rest of the images look neat!
