Watch: Behind The Scene Featurette for ‘Hugo’
It’s not a secret that I wasn’t the biggest fan of Hugo, Martin Scorsese’s odd to the early days of cinema. However, one can’t deny that it’s a beautifully crafted film made with great care and love. With the film picking up an Oscar nomination for Best Picture, Paramount might be trying to sway Academy voters by releasing a 6-minute featurette that takes us behind the making of the movie.
If you love learning more about the behind-the-scenes decisions of making a Hollywood film, you are in for a treat. The video features short interviews with director Martin Scorsese, editor Thelma Schoonmaker, scribe John Logan, and actor Ben Kingsley among others.

I’m still surprised this movie got made, especially with the big budget it got.
I think I want to go see it again. Maybe go for the 3D this time around.
Thanks for posting this. As I watch it, it’s just impossible for me to believe that anyone but Dante Ferreti can win art direction this year.
