Watch: Teaser for ‘Neighborhood Watch’ with Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn & Jonah Hill
One of the biggest mystery of the year in terms of blockbuster comedy is Akiva Schaffer’s Neighborhood Watch, starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Richard Ayoade and Jonah Hill. Beyond the promising cast of comedians lies a premise that delves pretty deeply into science-fiction.
The film revolves around a group of neighbors who form a neighborhood watch only to find themselves in the middle of an alien plot to take over the world. We now have our first look at the movie and it’s only a teaser featuring the four leads rolling around their suburban neighborhood with Dr. Dre’s “Still D.R.E.” blasting through the speakers of their minivan. It’s simple and effective enough but we are still waiting to see how the elements of science-fiction and comedy come together before we can have any kind of opinion about the movie.
Watch the teaser below (via IMDb) and let us know what you think! Neighborhood Watch opens July 27th.

Loved the last two times that Stiller and Vaughn teamed up (Anchorman and Dodgeball)..but…Hill…why? Why did they have to do that?
You don’t like Jonah Hill? I’m starting to warm up to him but certainly, I don’t like his brand of comedy at all.
This is the first I’ve heard of the movie. I’m definitely intrigued by the teaser.
Comes out a week after The Dark Knight Rises. Not sure what to make of that…
Richard Ayoade! This might be nice.
Interesting bit of casting. He might bring some fresh laughs given that Vaughn and Stiller are pretty washed out at this point.
I think that looks awful.
I feel so bad for Ayoade. he is a great comedian and director… But I guess this will buy a nice swimming pool
Stiller, Vaughn, Hill and Ayoade. Brilliant. Really hope this lives up to the casting.
LOL “Listen to his words but hear my face.” I like it
You forgot to say “Academy Award nominee Jonah Hill.” LOL!
Don’t think I’ll end up seeing this one, unless (or until) it plays endlessly on cable.
The last bit of it was pretty hilarious, especially Hill’s lines. So far it looks like Hill is staying within comedy, and now Still and Vaughn are back together again for another movie. I don’t care for Hill’s version of comedy, but he actually looks funny in this.
