Must Watch: Sensational Full Trailer for ‘Prometheus’
“Big things have small beginnings“. Twentieth Century Fox has just released the much anticipated full trailer for Ridley Scott‘s science-fiction blockbuster Prometheus and it is nothing short of impressive. The preview elaborates on the film’s mysterious plot but leaves you with the feeling that it’s just scratching the surface of the story.
If you are not familiar with the premise of the movie, Prometheus centers around a team of explorers who discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
I’m anxiously waiting to see this. This is all quite reminiscent of Alien, a film Scott helmed more than three decades ago. With an all-star cast that includes Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Noomi Rapace, Guy Pearce and Michael Fassbender, this should be pretty freaking awesome!

Nah the movie is still eons away, they could release one more. More than likely, there will be an international trailer and half a dozen TV spots. Add the featurettes, clips and “watch the first 10 minutes of the movie” and we could end up seeing a lot more ahah
And how amazing is this cast!?! Noomi Rapace looks like she’s gonna be really great in this.
Yea, looks like she has a fairly significant role which is nice.

After seeing this trailer, a lot of what was described there appeared in the trailer. I hope this one won’t disappoint, Scott hasn’t done a good movie in a while in my opinion.
What’s his last good movie in your opinion?
Well it’s been a while but I liked American Gangster but his last good film was Matchstick Men. I didn’t care for Robin Hood, Body of Lies, or The Good Year. Kingdom of Heaven Director’s Cut was descent but it still has Orlando Bloom as the lead, so I can’t really say it was good. LOL.

Could this be the studio movie of the year? Even over The Dark Knight Rises and The Hobbit? I’m way, way more excited for the latter than anything else, but it’s been so long since Scott’s really had a great film on his hands that I almost want to root for Prometheus over anything else.
Suffice to say, this looks amazing. Does Fassbender seem slightly…villainy here? Curious. The plot thickens!
One thing is for sure, it really looks like we are going to be spoiled during the next 3 months or so

…there’s a slightly longer international trailer that shows the film in a different light. Equally as impressive. This is going to be great.
