Watch: Charming Trailer for ‘Hope Springs’ with Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones & Steve Carell
Sony Pictures has debuted the first trailer and poster for the romantic comedy Hope Springs, starring Meryl Streep, Tommy Lee Jones and Steve Carell. Many years of marriage have left Maeve (Streep) wanting to spice things up and reconnect with her husband (Jones). When she hears of a famed relationship guru (Carell) in the town of Great Hope Springs, she must persuade her skeptical husband to get on a plane for an intense week of marriage and sex therapy.
Despite the predictable character arcs, it looks like a charming comedy with a rock-solid cast. The movie marks the reunion of Streep with her The Devil Wears Prada director, David Frankel so let’s hope for some more goodness from this talented duo.

…this looks like a good date movie! Without such a great cast I wouldn’t go to see it but I think this might be enjoyable.
