Watch Iron Man & Thor Fight Off Their Differences in New Clip from ‘The Avengers’ + 10 New Pics

At this rate, we won’t need to go to the theater to see the movie! Marvel continues to release The Avengers one little clip at a time, the latest one giving us a glimpse of Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) going for a high-powered fight in the middle of the woods.

If you can get past the fact that mere mortal Tony Stark is going toe-to-toe with the god of thunder — quite hilarious if you ask me, then this 52-second clip should make you salivate for the whole scene in the movie. Hopefully, it won’t be nearly as dark in the film though.

Watch the clip below (via Bleeding Cool) and let us know what you think! The Avengers opens May 4th. Oh and more pics below…

The quality on that video’s kind of mediocre, as you indicate, so it’s hard to say whether one will get anything out of it by watching it. The pictures, though, are pretty great.

  2. Looks cool but the video quality sucks.

  3. Does anyone else feel the marketing for this has gotten kind of repetitive?I mean, most people were convinced to watch it by the super bowl trailer, and don’t really need anything else to excite them for it. And i highly doubt someone is going to suddenly start anticipating this because of a extra scene or two

    • Castor says:

Well, I don’t really know what you want them to do. The marketing still has to pump clips, posters, pics and featurettes out since the money was spent. There is absolutely no way they would risk only releasing a couple trailers and stopping there.

    • 3guys1movie says:

Somehow I don’t think we are the demographic that marketing is trying to capture with this campaign. Lets face it most of us have been sold on this project since we stuck around to watch the teaser roll in some credits.

  4. You’re right, Castor. Way too many clips popping up. I’m just waiting to see the movie now and pretty much avoiding all the little clips.

I am looking forward to the film very much though.

    • Castor says:

Yea I already skipped the previous clip so I’m definitely getting enough of this ahah. Hopefully, they will stop real soon because we’ve seen a lot of movie already.

      • ruth says:

Yep, I’m not watching any of the clips. It’s really getting to be too much that it won’t be as fresh when we finally see the movie.

So who is going to be the one to just splice all those clips together?

Iron Man vs Thor reminds me of my brohther and I going at it around age 10.

  6. Pete says:

Nice pics! Sick of these vids now. Would rather watch that Prometheus ‘David’ video again.

  7. Amy says:

I am SO excited about this film! I re-watched all the Marvel films in preparation, and now I’m just twiddling my thumbs waiting for 26th! Cannot wait, I’m going to have to stay off the internet on Thursday to avoid jealously of other people seeing it before me! Hulk looks amazing, so much better than any previous incarnations.
