Watch Tony Stark Argue With Loki in New Clip from ‘The Avengers’
While the cinematic world is getting ready for the world premiere of Marvel’s The Avengers tonight in Hollywood, here is the newest clip featuring Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) engaging in some verbal chest-pounding against Loki (Tom Hiddleston). This is basically the same clip used in the TV spot “Roll Call’ but without all the rapid fire cuts showing each character.

AGH. There it is. That terrible “we’ll avenge the Earth” line. I’d almost forgotten about it, but there it is, the sound of the record skipping and scratching to a halt after a minute of otherwise engaging footage. (Though the whole thing does feel kind of perfunctory out of context.) Yuck.
