First Look at Ralph Fiennes & Felicity Jones in Charles Dickens Biopic ‘The Invisible Woman’

Ralph Fiennes second directorial effort is an adaptation of Claire Tomalin’s The Invisible Woman in which the actor/director plays the role of one Charles Dickens. The story depicts the relationship between Dickens and Nelly Ternan (Felicity Jones) as seen through the eyes of the eponymous character who was his lifelong mistress despite their very large age gap.

Empire has received the first two stills from the movie and apparently, the title is quite misleading because Like Crazy star Felicity Jones is anything but invisible. At any rate, take a look at the images below. The Invisible Woman also stars Kristin Scott-Thomas, Tom Hollander and Michelle Fairley.

Nice to see Fiennes reteaming w/ Kristin Scott-Thomas again, I’m curious about this one.

Cool. And I’ve been getting into Dickens lately.

I’ve not had the greatest relationship with Dickens but I’d be willing to give this a go. I was impressed by Finnes in Coriolanus although I think the trailer gave the completely wrong impression; suggesting it was more gritty action than Shakespearian soliloquies

Haven’t seen Coriolanus but I’ve heard good things about it. I know better than to expect tons of action though, it’s Shakespeare lol

Ralph looks really serious. I like his eyes.
i look forward to this movie :)
