Must Watch: Stunning First Teaser for ‘Skyfall’
Sony has debuted the first teaser trailer for the 23rd installment of the James Bond franchise, Skyfall and it will leave you drooling for more. Unlike Quantum of Solace, it’s fairly obvious that director Sam Mendes (Road to Perdition) is going to poke at the psychological burden that’s dragging down Bond.
It’s also apparent that cinematographer Roger Deakins (True Grit) is at the top of his game and that this is going to be a visually stunning film. Needless to say, we are highly anticipating this one. With a cast that includes Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, and Ralph Fiennes, Skyfall opens on November 9th in the US.

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time. In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

Unlike that poster (I don’t know why I hate it so), that trailer is just amazing. It looks gorgeous. I mean the MGM lion made me excited- that is a sign. Also yaay for Ralph Fiennes in the trailer.
Yea that poster looks terrible next to the visually impressive trailer.
Love seeing Fiennes in the trailer too, especially next to Dame Judi [all these Shakespearean thespians in a Bond movie = win!

Where’s Javier though? Maybe Mendes is saving him for the full trailer?
You can see a silhouette of Javier in the trailer but I like that we don’t see anymore of him.

You know? The poster is pretty unimaginative, I suppose… but I will say this, it definitely gets the job done when it comes to getting Bond nerds geeked out.

For example, I wonder if this means they’re finally going to be fully embracing the opening gunbarrel and official theme, which they’ve been playing fast and loose with during the Craig tenure.
Ralph Fiennes in a Bond movie? Why did we have to wait so long for it to happen?? Impressive trailer.

I love the poster AND the trailer. Best Bond yet I hope (until Nolan makes one)!
Or Terrence Malick. Imagine a shot of grass undulating in the wind while Bond kills 15 villains and defuse an atomic bomb off screen. All of that to the tune of Mozart.
This looks good, I just hope it improves on the very disappointing Quantum of Solace.

Kinda neat, but leaves me cold overall. Is that bad? Is there something wrong with me? I think I’m just not feeling Bond much these days.
Sick. The FX look sick in that trailer. It’s just a teaser, so it gives a lot more than most actually…
