I love most of the songs on the Easy A soundtrack, but that isn’t really one of them. Don’t hate the song, but don’t particularly favor it either.
My choice is Regina Spektor’s ‘Hero’, from “500 Days of Summer”

Regina Spektor and the Smiths, 500 Days of Summer is one of my favorite soundtracks. I won’t pick a musical, that would be to easy.
I love the music from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. It features Yo-Yo Ma.

I’m with Red. 4/10.
I’ve been obsessed with the soundtrack for Indie Game: The Movie as of late. Great stuff by Jim Guthrie, so I’ll just go with the first track, “Maybe You’ll Get Some, Maybe You Won’t.”

I think I’m supposed to be rating the most recent one listed? I’ve never heard of Indie Game before, but I think it’s a cool track. I’d give it 6/10.
LOVE “Hero” by Regina Spektor. Actually, I just love that entire soundtrack. I actually have a song from that soundtrack that I really like too:
“Vagabond” by Wolfmother in (500) Days of Summer.

Yea you are supposed to rate the song from the previous poster…
I like this song. In fact, I love that entire soundtrack.
Great idea for a continuing series! I will check back to observe the proceedings.
So, the Wolfmother song. We’re still on the Wolfmother song, yes? I’d give it a 5/10. Don’t dislike it, just not my bag, baby.
Now, if you don’t mind, I’m going to Sofia-ize this situation. That is, with Phoenix’s “Love Like A Sunset Pt 2″ which closed “Somewhere” in rather awe-inspiring fashion.

I’ve got the Moulin Rouge’s soundtrack in my car so I’ve been listening to that lately. But since you mentioned Zimmer, Castor, I actually have one of his track for my upcoming Music Break
In any case, that “Love Like A Sunset Pt 2″ is enjoyable enough, I’d give it a 6/10.
TDK!
Lady Marmalade from Moulin Rouge soundtrack mentioned by Ruth rates a 6 out of 10 for me.

A great party song that was featured in 1994′s Reality Bites (Ben Stiller, Ethan Hawk) is The Knacks “My Sharona” is 8.5 out of 10 for me.

Apparently, I’m not allowed to watch that video S posted by The Knacks. Thankfully, I’m a big fan of the song, even though I’ve not seen the film! Gets an 8/10 from me.
While I’m not a huge fan of this entire score, I’ve had this stuck in my head for a few days. The Hellicarrier track from The Avengers score soundtrack. The best track on the entire album.

6.5/10
The Avengers was a lot of fun but the soundtrack wasn’t anything special to me.
I guess it’s my turn then?
Built This Way from the ending of Mean Girls. It brings me back to the movie every time!

6/10. It grew on me a little towards the end, but it doesn’t strike me as anything special. Then again, I never saw “Mean Girls.”
Since Judy Garland’s birthday was yesterday, how about one of her sexier numbers, “Get Happy” from “Summmer Stock”:

7/10
You should see Mean Girls, Rich. It’s a classic
Well, now that I know Tina Fey wrote it, it’s on my radar for sure.
Ok try again, this time from Midnight in Paris
Sidney Bechet, Si Tu Vois Ma Mere (first song that plays in the intro scene)
8/10. I enjoyed Midnight in Paris, my favorite of all of the Best Picture nominee last year.
Hans Zimmer’s excellent theme for Crimson Tide:

You can never go wrong with Zimmer.
I’m going with “Blood” by The Middle East, which was the final song in “Crazy, Stupid, Love.”
