Watch: New Trailer for ‘Premium Rush’ with Joseph Gordon-Levitt
Columbia Pictures has released a new trailer for the bike thriller Premium Rush. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a bike messenger who sees a routine delivery turn into a life or death situation through the streets of New York City.
As you may already know, the film was initially slated to open this past January but the studio decided to move the release date to August 24th to capitalize on the release of The Dark Knight Rises. Sadly, it doesn’t look particularly promising despite the fact that Gordon-Levitt as well as Michael Shannon (Take Shelter) star in the movie. I guess there will be a lot of supposedly heart-pounding chases and bike stunts but beyond that, let’s just hope it’s a decent, half-entertaining watch.

A New York bike messenger is given an envelope by a young woman at an uptown Manhattan college and is told he has 90 minutes to deliver it to an address in Chinatown. Complications ensue when an undercover police office appears and demands the envelope on special grounds. The truth, hidden motivations, and the life-and-death stakes on all sides are revealed through a series of flashbacks as the cop and the messenger engage in a length-of-Manhattan chase, racing against time after the messenger discovers the precious nature of the envelope’s slender contents. This movie also stars Jamie Chung (Grown Ups, Hangover II), Dania Ramirez (Entourage, Heroes), Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire)

Might be decent due to Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon but I don’t know. I probably watch it if it’s on TV. Besides, I can’t stand Dania Ramirez. Hot but the bitch can’t fucking act.
Yea rental at best imo. Hopefully, we are wrong but I doubt it.

? hum can’t be any worse than some of the crap already out. Seriously a movie about CYCLING and in NYC as courier. When were you last pedaling your ass? Yup gonna check it out and buy the DVD to add to the slim Bicycle movie collection, American Flyers, Breaking Away, The Flying Scotsman, Quick Silver. Looks like more action.
