Brie Larson Joins Cast of Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s ‘Don Juan’s Addiction’
Joseph Gordon-Levitt continues to surround himself with eye-catching beauties for his directorial debut, the appropriately titled black comedy Don Jon’s Addiction. In the movie, Gordon-Levitt stars as a sex addicted Don Juan who sets out on a resolution to become a better man after meeting a recently widowed woman.
We already know that Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore and Tony Danza are set to co-star in the film, and now Variety has word that Brie Larson (21 Jump Street) will take on the role of Don Juan’s sister.
While it seems like a fairly minor supporting role, the rising actress is quickly emerging as a Hollywood hot item with recent appearances in Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and Oren Moverman’s Rampart. She is set to star in The Spectacular Now alongside Shailene Woodley, and Peter Bogdanovich’s Squirrel to the Nuts.
Production for Don Jon’s Addiction is currently on-going with a potential release date next year. While the premise sounds a bit weak, I can’t wait to see what spin Gordon-Levitt puts on it.

Brie Larson was great in 21 Jump Street and I loved that Metric cover she did in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I’m looking forward to this film.
I just finally saw ’21 Jump Street’ Castor, and I thought it was hilarious! I thought Brie was quite good in this, though it could easily have been a thankless role.
