First Look at Ben Whishaw as Q in ‘Skyfall’
James Bond’s favorite gadget expert, Q,will make a return in director Sam Mendes’ Skyfall after being missing in action in the last two installments of the franchise. Ben Whishaw (Bright Star) will pick up the mantle from Desmond Llewelyn (1963-1999) and John Cleese (1999-2002) and we have a first look at the character will look like below (via 007.com).
Apparently, Mendes will inject the franchise with some contemporary nerd power as Q will likely introduce Bond to some shiny I-Gadget while enthusiastically raving about the latest Apple product. And as shown in the pic below, Bond will simply gaze into the distance, fantasizing about choke-slamming this new IT guy.
Skyfall opens on November 9th.

I’ve only seen him in one movie. Perfume, one of the weirdest flick I’ve seen lol
OH!!!! It’s good to see Q back in the game and Ben Whishaw definitely has the look to play such a cool character. Let’s see if he can employ some of that humor the old Q had. Q is always my favorite character.
Well, he has the nerd look down pat. But the previous Qs weren’t into that look, apparently
I like it! He’s sporting the Peter Parker look, ahah.
Interesting casting, he looks pretty cool too!
