New Look at Jake Gyllenhaal & Michael Pena in ‘End of Watch’
More pictures have been released for David Ayer’s upcoming cop drama End Of Watch. Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena star as two LA police officers putting their lives on the line everyday in the streets of South Central.
Apparently, the job is so dangerous that Pena’s character feels the need to wield an AK-47 like it’s Helmand Province, Afghanistan. The trailer certainly hasn’t sold me over its multiple handheld camera perspective but the cast is quite intriguing with Anna Kendrick, Frank Grillo and Cody Horn also part of the film.
End of Watch will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September before hitting theaters on September 21st. Check out the new pics below and let us know what you think!

I’m not terribly interested in this movie but I will admit that Jake looks very coppy here.
So anyone who shaves his head looks “coppy”?
i’m mildly interested in this. but i am not a kendrick fan…at all. and this looks like jarhead meets southland. may rent.
It seems like she has a minor role anyway.
