Jennifer Lawrence to Journey to ‘The Ends of the Earth’
After starring in the box office smash hit The Hunger Games, star Jennifer Lawrence has become one of the most in-demand actress in Hollywood but she isn’t afraid to return to smaller dramatic projects as evidenced by her decision to star in the epic love story, The Ends of Earth.
The Weinstein Company is in final talks to acquire the rights for the film which will see Lawrence take on the role of Lydie Marland, the adopted daughter of powerful oil tycoon, Ernest Marland. The film will depict the controversial love affair between the two as the 54 year-old Ernest eventually annulled the adoption and married the 28 year-old Lydie.
No word yet on who will co-star as the male lead or who will direct the pic. We do know that Chris Terrio (Argo) wrote the intriguing screenplay which is based off true events.
Lawrence will start filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire before working on the sequel of X-Men: First Class, called Days of Future Past. She will star this fall in David O. Russell’s drama The Silver Linings Playbook alongside Bradley Cooper.
What do you think?

Lawrence is working wonders for FD draft
We need someone to volunteer to update the scoring lol…
An epic love story, I like the sound of that. I hope they cast the male lead who’s in the same league as Jennifer, she’s got quite a screen presence.
Wait… Are you thinking of Gerard Butler again?
