Watch: Watch Eric Bana Shoot a Cop in the Face in New Trailer for ‘Deadfall’
Magnolia Pictures has debuted a new trailer for Stefan Ruzowitzky’s crime thriller Deadfall. Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde star as a brother and sister on the run after a casino robbery gone wrong. After he shoots a well-intentioned State Trooper in the freaking face, the siblings must split up and sh** gets real as the manhunt intensifies.
Ah it feels good to let out a few expletives once in a while. The movie does look semi-intriguing as you expect a thrilling and potentially devastating denouement to the storyline. Olivia Wilde hasn’t exactly had a chance to play any interesting movie parts so far in her career but this may be something to keep an eye on.
Charlie Hunnam, Kate Mara, Sissy Spacek, and Kris Kristofferson also star in the film which will hit theaters on December 7th. Check out the trailer below (via Hulu) and let us know what you think!
Siblings Addison and Liza are on the run from a casino heist gone wrong. When a car accident leaves their wheel man and a state trooper dead, they split up and make a run for the Canadian border in the worst of circumstances a near whiteout blizzard. While Addison heads cross-country, creating mayhem in his wake, Liza is picked up by ex-boxer Jay (Charlie Hunnam), en-route for a Thanksgiving homecoming with his parents, June (Sissy Spacek) and retired sheriff Chet (Kris Kristofferson). It’s there the siblings are reunited in a terse and thrilling showdown that pushes the bonds of family to the limit.

I LOVE Eric Bana but what is this?? The premise is not even compelling and I agree that Olivia Wilde hasn’t really done anything compelling since… TRON?? I might rent it on account of Bana but I’m dyin’ to see him in a GOOD movie!
But Eric Bana was in Blackhawk Down and uh… uh… uh…
Ah, Hulu. Nothing like being forced to watch a 30 second commercial before it lets me watch a 2 minute commercial.
Ahaha yea. Got to pay the bills I guess…
Hmmm… It doesn’t look very original, but the cast is enough to get me to the theatre. Or, at least Netflix
