15 Awesome New Stills from ‘The Hobbit’
The late summer doldrums has hit the box office but let’s not kid ourselves, the first film of Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit trilogy is approaching fast and there is no doubt that it will bring in the big bucks for Warner Bros/New Line Cinema this upcoming winter.
In the meanwhile, the studio has released a big batch of new pictures that will delight fan-boys and girls alike. Take a good look at Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) and his merry band of dwarves.
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is set to arrive in U.S. theaters this December 14, 2012.

looking forward to see this despite a bit of disappointed with it being a trilogy.

It will be interesting to see whether the dwarves will be distinct enough from each other in the movies. It’s kind of confusing, from the pics lol
True. But Aidan is cute so at least in my eyes he stands out – him and RA that is – but he is the head dwarf so that should be easy at least.

Pic 3 is pretty awesome looking. Of course, they all are, but that’s one of the only images in which something is actually happening. The rest are mostly just posed moments.

I cant wait, I’m sure the movie is going to live up to the lofty expectations!
