Mischief Managed: Watch Terrific Look Back at the Wonderful World of ‘Harry Potter’
Harry Potter’s captivating journey ended last summer on a bittersweet note but here is one more chance to relive the story of the boy who lived in less than 15 minutes. Kees van Dijkhuizen Jr.created a terrific video, patching scenes from all eight movies to the tune of the franchise’s most memorable songs (via First Showing).
It’s always a joy to see how the franchise progressed over the course of a decade, progressively getting darker as the characters matured into adulthood but the most striking aspect of this video may well be how terrific the soundtrack was. From Johh Williams’ iconic Hedwig’s Theme to Alexandre Desplat’s work on the last two movies, this franchise has been blessed with some incredible tunes.

I’m on the verge of tears.
I will never get over these films. They were my childhood. Although I can never watch them now without feeling a little sad inside, knowing that nothing will affect me like a Harry Potter film again.

I might have to watch the films back to back…should really replace my old DVDs with blu-rays though.
I do a marathon every year around Christmas/New Year’s time. I don’t know why but that period of the year always makes me want to watch HP.
