More New Pics from ‘The Hobbit’ + New Trailer Hitting This Week
Apparently there is something called Tolkien week which happens every year around September 22 (Bilbo and Frodo Baggins’ birthday) and guess what, we are in the midst of Tolkien week 2012. To celebrate this incommensurable event, Warner Bros. and Peter Jackson have released a new batch of new stills as well as a character gallery from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey which you can check out below (via Peter Jackson‘s Facebook.)
Even more exciting is the arrival of a new trailer on Wednesday so stay tuned to watch it here tomorrow. I can’t believe the movie is only three months away!

Horay for Martin Freeman. I am currently watching The Office, he looks so cute there.
Starting to get a little wary of the massive amount of photos they’re releasing for this. Yeah, WETA does great design work, the whole movie looks spectacular from that standpoint, we get it already. C’mon. I mean, I’m dying to see this thing and even I’m starting to get worn down by the unrelenting deluge of JPGs.
And it’s still months away!

The photos are just cut out of that tapestry they released ages ago…bit of lazy marketing really.
Yea, that’s fine with me. I don’t want to see too much now.
