Must Watch: Chilling Trailer for Chan-wook Park’s Psychological Thriller ‘Stoker’
Most movie fans are already aware of director Park Chan-wook‘s amazing work with classics such as Oldboy and his Vengeance Trilogy. The South Korean filmmaker is now looking to make his English-language debut with the psychological trailer Stoker and it looks like he is hitting the ground running.
Rising star Mia Wasikowska stars as India Stoker, a young girl who suspects her mysterious uncle (Matthew Goode) is up to no good after he comes to live with her emotionally unstable mother (Nicole Kidman) following the death of her father (Dermot Mulroney). But instead of feeling outrage or horror, this friendless girl becomes increasingly infatuated with him.
I love this trailer. It’s atmospheric, creepy and visually appealing. And knowing who is behind this movie, we should expect a stunning twist to come along near the end and stun everyone out of their socks. I can’t wait!

Kidman looks amazing in this. I mean, the rest of the movie looks nice too, but i’m especially excited to see Kidman’s performance in this
Also, i am wondering if the title was just a red herring to make it seem like it would be vampire related or if that will actually tie in the story someway
Shhhhhh….
Definitely in my shortlist of films to see in 2013.
Same here Steven!
I love it! So much. I adore the three actors and how equally disturbing they all seem to be. Also I hope that this finally is Matthew Goode’s big break.
I think they show a bit too much but hopefully, Chan-wook Park has a lot more udner his sleeve.
Looks fascinating. If he keeps the tension of the trailer going throughout the film it is going to be a top notch thriller.
Wow, this looks amazing. I can’t wait.
I’m still waiting for Joseph Cotten to show up.
