Must Watch: New Trailer for ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ with Bradley Cooper & Jennifer Lawrence
Director David O. Russell‘s new movie Silver Linings Playbook has catapulted itself to the forefront of the awards race after the film’s enthusiastic reception at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this month. Bradley Cooper stars as a sad sack loser trying to get back on his feet after suffering a mental breakdown. When he meets a mysterious girl (Jennifer Lawrence) with problems of her own, an unexpected bond begins to form between them.
The movie looks simultaneously witty, funny, poignant, sweet and charming and it seems like it hits all the right notes given all the critical praise heaped upon it. I’m starting to get pretty excited about this flick and hoping to check it out on October 18th at the Twin Cities Film Festival.

Hey we gotta see this one together at TCFF Cas!
Definitely Ruth! I’ll try to get that evening off so we can get together for the movie
Why in the hell did they use that godawful Lumineers song? It’s so annoying and it’s stuck on my fucking head.
Because it stays stuck in people’s head!
Ah, this trailer is a bit better than the last one. It is less confusing. Looking good, though!
Yea I wasn’t sure what to make of the first trailer. But after hearing all the critical praise and seeing this, I’m totally on board!
This trailer didn’t do much for me, but seeing as it’s a David O. Russell film I’ll definitely give it a shot.
