Watch: Lovely Drake Doremus-Directed Web-Series ‘The Beauty Inside’ with Mary Elizabeth Winstead

Earlier this summer Intel and Toshiba launched The Beauty Inside, an original web series which gave fans a chance to appear in one of the six episodes through social media interactions. Like Crazy director Drake Doremus helms this fairly simple premise of a young man waking up a different person physically every morning and his yearning to find a meaningful and long-lasting relationship at long last.

The lovely Mary Elizabeth Winstead stars with Topher Grace voicing the different amateur actors taking on the role of the protagonist. The six episodes (about 6 minutes each) are now available to watch (via The Playlist).

It’s a really fun watch and does a lot more in 40 minutes than the vast majority of “romantic” movies these days. Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Alex is in his mid twenties. He lives in Los Angeles. He restores antiques. And he’s a pretty normal guy. Except for one thing: Everyday he wakes up looking like someone else. And it’s been happening for as long as he can remember. Welcome to The Beauty Inside.

The Beauty Inside is an interactive social film, presented by Intel and Toshiba, directed by Drake Doremus, starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Topher Grace, and all of YOU. It’s Hollywood’s first social film that lets everyone in the audience play the lead role. Featuring The Beauty Inside Facebook fans: Kate W. from the UK, Tylan B from the United States, Daniela G. from the United States, and Shigo T. from Japan!

Wow, there are sooo many here. I’d watch a few of these later as Drake Doremus was so gracious when I interviewed him last year for TCFF.

“The Beauty Inside” was sooo good! Drake Doremus and Mary Elizabeth Winstead need to do a feature film together.
