When he is not preparing to host the upcoming Oscar ceremony, writer-director Seth MacFarlane is keeping busy lining up his second directorial effort, the western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West in which he is also set to star. And it looks like he has found his co-star in Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron.
The film would center on a puny farmer (MacFarlane) who loses his girlfriend after he chickens out of a gunfight. Determined to win her back, he seeks the help of an outlaw’s wife to teach him how to shoot. Things get complicated when he slowly falls for her and the outlaw returns to claim his wife.
Heat Vision reports that Theron would take on the role of the outlaw’s wife with production set to start in May. This certainly sounds like a perfect fit for Theron who has shown she can play tough badass women in her sleep and I think her comedic skills are quite underrated.
