Must-Watch: Disney’s Oscar-Nominated Animated Short ‘Paperman’
If you who didn’t went out of your way to check out Disney’s Wreck-It Ralph a few months ago then you missed Paperman, a wonderful animated short film by John Kahr that played in front of it. But you are in luck as Disney has released the Oscar-nominated short in full for all to behold.
Running at less than 7 minutes, the story centers on a lonely young man in New York City who meets a beautiful woman on his morning commute. Convinced he would never see the girl of his dreams ever again, he gets a second chance when he sees her in the skyscraper across the street. Stuck in a paper-pushing prison of an office, he does his best to catch her attention.
It’s a beautiful little film, honestly better than just about anything you probably saw this past year. All it will take is about 7 minutes of your time! Watch below and let us know what you think!

Saw it in front of WRECK-IT RALPH and it is really charming. Loved the proactive paper airplanes.
We all could use some proactive paper planes now and then
Beautiful. I can’t imagine the same effect if the entire thing is in color.
Yea great point, it’s lovely in black and white and maybe color would subtract from its charm.
LOVE this!! I like the fact that it’s done in black n white.
