New Pics from Richard Linklater’s ‘Before Midnight’
Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival today is Richard Linklater’s anxiously awaited Before Midnight, the follow-up to the filmmaker’s beloved Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Being a huge fan of those films, I’m really excited and maybe slightly uneasy about this third installment. What if this film doesn’t quite measure up to the greatness of the previous outings?
At any rate, we have some new pictures from the film which brings us back alongside Celine (Julie Delpy) and Jesse (Ethan Hawke) nine years after the pitch-perfect ending of Before Sunset. Let us know what you think!

One of my 10 most anticipated films of the year. I hope a Criterion release comes for the entire trilogy.
To be honest, I’m afraid of this movie. Before Sunset was perfect. Nothing short of perfect.
This is the sole reason I wanted to be at Sundance this year. Sure, there are a ton of other great films.. but this… OH MY GOD YES PLEASE NOW.
I just started reading The Playlist’s review of the movie. Bad idea, I didn’t want to learn anything about where the characters stand 9 years after Before Sunset ahah. But it looks like it won’t be a disappointment

I liked the first one but I don’t really feel like I want to see it again. The second one though…
I think I’ve seen the first one twice and the second once. I really like them both. They are the sorts of films where you see something you might have missed the first time around – little nuances in the conversation etc.
This is something I can get behind
Monumentally excited about this.
