Watch: New Trailer for Jackie Robinson Biopic ’42′

42

Warner Bros. has debuted a new trailer for director Brian Helgeland’s Jackie Robinson film 42. Chadwick Boseman stars as the legendary baseball player who broke down racial segregation in major league baseball with the help of Brooklyn Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey (Harrison Ford).

Jackie Robinson’s was an incredibly inspiring personality who not only was a historic trailblazer but also became one of the best baseball players in history. I really hope this film will do him justice and from the looks of it, it has a good chance to do so.

I’ll probably rent this as I’m not a fan of baseball. The trailer doesn’t look too good, but curious to see how Ford fares in this role though.

My favorite is baseball only but nowadays am not having time to play!
