Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper Set to Reunite with Director David O. Russell in Untitled FBI Thriller
After teaming up for the wildly popular and Oscar-nominated romantic comedy Silver Linings Playbook, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence have signed up to reunite with their director David O. Russell for his next film, formerly known as American Bullshit.
The now-untitled film already boasts an impressive cast that includes the likes of Jeremy Renner, Christian Bale, Amy Adams and Louis C.K.
Eric Warren Singer wrote the script, which is based on the true story of Abscam, a FBI undercover sting operation in the 1980s that saw a skilled con man (Bale) team up with an FBI agent (Cooper) to root out corruption in Congress.
Lawrence will take on the role of Bale’s character’s wife while Renner will play a New Jersey congressman.
It’s fully understandable for actors to want to work repeatedly with the same group of talented people but doesn’t it take away from the moviegoer’s experience after a while? As I say this, Lawrence and Cooper are currently filming the period thriller Serena.

Sweet, me like all involved.
At some point they are going to look into each others eyes and say “I think we need to star with other people”
What no Lily Tomlin?
This sounds great. Like the casting, like the concept, like the director! Win, win, win!
Cool! Smart move by Cooper – D.O.R. has brought out the best in the thesp so carry on!
