Must Watch: Full Trailer for ‘Fast & Furious 6′
Universal has released the full trailer for Justin Lin’s Fast & Furious 6 and it looks like a badass continuation of the fifth installment. Like a lot of people, I was very pleasantly surprised by the previous film which veered away from the car-ricing culture of the first four movies to become a more traditional heist thriller.
The plot is picking up right where it left off as Dom (Vin Diesel) and company have to team up with Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) to stop a highly skilled criminal outfit and earn themselves legal pardons. And it appears as if Dom’s great love, Letty (Michelle Rodriguez), is back from the dead.
Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think! Fast & Furious 6 hits theaters on May 24th.
Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe. But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.
Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez). The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London. Payment? Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

I hadn’t been fond of the Fast and the Furious films but the last one was actually quite awesome. This looks ridiculous but also a whole lot of fun.
Yea, the first one was meh then it went really down hill from there. But then the fifth one was outlandishly over-the-top but I loved that it was a lot more of a heist movies and they didn’t focus as much on the cars and the stupid racing.
Vin Diesel and his ‘roids… This looks like brainless fun like the last one. And Gina Carano!
I have never been able to get into this franchise. I tried, and failed. I haven’t seen the 5th one though. Somebody needs to convince me that I wouldn’t be wasting my time in order for me to see this.
