Seth Rogen to Produce and Star in Disney Spy Comedy ‘The B Team’

Coming off a busy year in which he most notably starred in his own superhero movie (The Green Hornet) and produced/co-starred in the Golden Globe-nominated cancer comedy 50/50, Seth Rogen is a rising star who is anything but on the “B Team”. Well, actually nevermind. Variety reports that Rogen is is set to produce and possibly star in The B Team, an upcoming spy comedy for Disney.

After much contemplation, Harry Potter director David Yates has finally settled on his next project and not surprisingly, it’s going to be a small-scale production. Variety reports that Yates will helm an adaptation of Emma Forrest’s memoir Your Voice in My Head from a screenplay by Forrest herself.

Who would have thought a silent film would head the Golden Globes with six nominations in 2011? The Artist continues to gather steam as the film to beat with a nomination for best comedy or musical as well as acting honors for its French stars, Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo.
