A trailer for indie drama Return has been released by Focus Feature. The film centers on a war veteran (Linda Cardellini) who returns home to her husband and kids only to realize that fitting back in a world that has moved on without her isn’t so easy. The movie, directed by Liza Johnson, also stars Michael Shannon (Take Shelter) and John Slattery (Mad Men).

Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as a mobster working for a crime syndicate in the near-future. He, along with other so-called Loopers, kill people sent from the future by their boss. StudioCanal has debuted a new trailer for the period drama Bel-Ami, starring Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Christina Ricci. The story, based on Guy de Maupassant’s 1885 novel of the same name, revolves around Georges Duroy (Pattinson), a penniless soldier who makes his way up the Parisian social ladder by bedding a number of mistresses.
You must admit, this is turning out to be a fantastic week of film marketing. With the first trailer for director Ridley Scott’s Prometheus set to premiere tomorrow, Fox has released a still of star Michael Fassbender (via Empire) who plays an android that “may or may not be trustworthy”.
Warner Bros. has debuted the first trailer for Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey on Apple. The story will revolve around the journey of Bilbo Baggins, who embarks on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago lost to the dragon Smaug.
