Round 1 | "Okay, a director I’ll pick because I’m afraid he’ll eventually get picked – Joe Wright. Though I don’t hate The Soloist I’ll pretend it didn’t happen and go on the brilliance of Pride & Prejudice and Atonement and the potential of Hanna."
Round 2 | "Helena Bonham Carter: Everyone thinks of her as Tim Burton's f***ed up muse now, but Helena Bonham Carter is a brilliant actress. She's been doing it for over twenty years now and whether she's holding down the fort in a Merchant Ivory period piece, playing opposite Michael Keaton in Iraq or coming on screen for a few minutes to defend Voldermort she's always amazing. Enough said."
Round 3 | "Carey Mulligan: It's a bit too easy to say we were blown away by her in An Education...but can you blame us? She proves she can rock an American accent in The Greatest and this year looks like it could be even bigger for her with Never Let Me Go. What can I say? I'm a fan."

Round 4 | "Ben Whishaw: It's easy to forget him because he's so subtle but I think he's easily one of the brightest young actors. He has a thing for playing emotive artists (see I'm Not There, Bright Star) and I'm interested to see what he does next."
Round 5 | "Kristin Scott Thomas: It's wrong that she's not more popular, but that's how it goes. She's as skilled in English as she is in French and though she can play the bitch like no one else (Gosford Park, Easy Virtue) she can play more than that."
Round 6 | "Jude Law is my favourite actor under fifty. It doesn't really matter if he's starring in crap or not, playing a cameo or a leading, he's always so charismatic and he's always just so brilliant I'm surprised his good luck with roles has dwindled."
Round 7 | "Rosamund Pike: It sucks that Halle Berry's star turn (of sorts) in Die Another Day is more remembered than Pike's brilliance...it also sucks that no one seems to remember that she was good in Pride & Prejudice and more than just good in An Education. I'm casting her to make up for it..."
Round 8 | "I want to add Kenneth Branagh to the cast: Kenneth was the go-to actor back in the day for his Shakespeare adaptations - a bit of a modern day Laurence Olivier. He's not as popular now, but I warrant he's still got the goods to be a noteworthy leading man (and Ralph Fiennes was taken)."
Round 9 | "Dominic Cooper: He keeps on floating around looking good in bit roles but never getting a significant break. I think he has the ability to become a great if he gets the role to boot. Hopefully that happens sooner than later."
