Regardless of whether it is a big budget flick or an independent gem Depp always creates interesting and memorable characters. While directors are the hot choice in the first round, I look at them like the drummer in a band. They keep the beat going while everyone pays attention to the lead singer. Johnny is my lead singer who will bring the crowds into the cinema. Depp is one of the few actors that can appeals to both mainstream audiences and hardcore cinephiles." |  |
Round 2 | "For my second pick I wanted an actor who could keep up with my first round pick (Depp). Brad Pitt has shown in Se7en, Fight Club, Twelve Monkeys, True Romance, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and Snatch that he can really identify what makes a character ticket. Similar to Johnny Depp, Pitt could care less about his looks, he is willing to do what ever is needed for the story. He is also not afraid to take on roles that go against typical Hollywood convention." |  |
