Round 2 | "For my 2nd round pick, I will go with a director). Sorry, Joe Wright...you're fired. Rule #1 - you can never go wrong with a Swedish director and Lasse Hallstrom has made some touching/personal films with heart and spirit. "Once Around," "Chocolat," "The Shipping News" and "Gilbert Grape" to name a few. I'm bringing Mr. Hallstrom on board for this one to work with Mr. Pacino. "
Round 3 | "OK, so for my 3rd pick, I need someone to be strong enough to balance Pacino. Then I can go with picking my young actors. So I will pick the remarkably talented and beautiful Jessica Lange. Was going to go the Keaton route (who is my favorite, of course), but didn’t want any Godfather flashbacks…So Jessica Lange it is!"
Round 4 | "I need someone who can easily pass for Pacino’s son. Adrien Brody fits just fine! Check out both noses…done deal. Plus, Oscar-winner Brody is a great talent. I have been rather disappointed in the films he has been in over the past few years, but the guy has tons of talent and great range. He has a great, sensitive look to him and is strong as well. "
Round 5 | "I am picking Al Pacino (so shocked he is still available, btw)….why? He can do anything. And with the passing of Brando and Newman, he is, in my opinion, the greatest actor we have working today. He will be perfect for my idea…."
Round 6 | "My 4th actor cast is Sanaa Lathan. She is not a household name just yet, but I think she will be in the near future. She is very sexy and was wonderful in last year's indie, "Wonderful World" opposite Matthew Broderick. Lathan will work very nicely with this particular project..."
Round 7 | "My last pick will be the Iranian-born actress Shohreh Aghdashloo. She is lovely. Wonderful performances in “House of Sand and Fog” and “The Stoning of Soraya M.” I missed her on “24″ which I have never seen. But she has old-time Hollywood beauty and is a very good contrast to Ms. Jessica Lange."
Round 8 | "I’ll take another pick here. I’m going with Billy Crudup, but will age him just a few years to play Adrien’s older brother. Crudup is a versatile stage and screen actor with good looks. Great performances in Almost Famous, Dedication, Stage Beauty and he was even excellent in the lousy film Public Enemies."
