Movie Review: Glengarry Glen Ross (1992)

Do you want to see truly GREAT acting? Glengarry Glen Ross is the movie you want to watch. Cast members themselves would come on set on their day off to watch their fellow actors perform. That’s how good it is. Al Pacino, Ed Harris, Jack Lemmon, Kevin Spacey, Alan Arking, and Alec Baldwin at their best, it just doesn’t get any better than this little gem. Directed by James Foley, the film is an adaptation by David Marmet of his Pullitzer prize winning play of the same title.

Movie Review: Sunshine Cleaning (2008)

Sunshine Cleaning, directed by Christine Jeffs, is a comedy-drama co-starring Amy Adams and Emily Blunt. This small indie production premiered at, you guessed it… the good old Sundance Film Festival and well, I like them indies and it has the brilliant Amy Adams so this was next on my watchlist.

Movie Review: Rendition (2007)

I just saw Rendition in theater Friday night. Good but unspectacular movie. As a whole it is neither exceptional nor bad. Just a little blah… In short, Rendition = BABEL. Same structure, same shortcomings, same result. It doesn’t help that it’s the 47th movie in the past 2 years whose subject relates to the Iraq War.
