The latest superhero movie is entertaining and has this surprisingly old-fashioned atmosphere to it. Nonetheless, I can’t help but feel that it’s a somewhat underwhelming film which, along with recent comic book movies, feels as if it was made on an assembly line.

The first trailer for The Green Lantern, starring Ryan Reynolds, has finally been released. I can’t say that the trailer looks all that promising, the computer effects are on the cheap side but I’m sure there will be a lot more trailers to come in the next 6 months. The Green Lantern will be appear in movie theaters on June 17, 2011.
